Google Launches Exciting New Apps for Glass

For people interested in education, music, and sports, Google has announced 11 new and exciting apps for its revolutionary product Glass.
On Tuesday Google announced the launch of 11 apps for Glass. The list includes apps like Duolingo, Shazam, Runtastic, Livestream, and more.

More than a few apps in the list are sports and fitness oriented. These include 94Fifty Basketball, which is a app designed to help people taking basketball shots.
Another app, Runtastic, is to help users keep up with their fitness goals. And in lieu of helping people catch the football world cup fever, the app Goal.com provides users information to keep up to date with the World Cup stats, and match results.
For lovers of music, Google has also included some apps which are focused on the same. The most popular is Shazam, which has already made its way for the Glass users in UK. Another app, Livestreat, enables users to broadcast live streaming video, and musiXmatch app, comes with music recognizing feature.
A spokesperson of Google stated that the number of apps for Google Glass in the MyGlass app store has increased by a factor of 80 percent in the last six months only.
Google Glass is a very innovative product, though still in nascent stage. It combines eyeware with modern computerization and internet connectivity. It helps users to access internet and check the data all through an extremely small-sized display attached to the device, which is basically a type of glasses.
