The former governor of Florida, Jeb Bush, is now the Republican front-runner after contender Mitt Romney backed out of his third attempt to run for president. But, analysts warned, Bush is far from hurdling big challenges to his try at the White House.
Seasoned Republican strategist Saul Anuzis said Romney's decision to quit the race is a mixed bag for the former governor becomes he can now become the sole target of anti-establishment critics.

Bush has gathered a talented pool of operatives and fundraisers for his likely run, including recruiting David Kochel, Romney's top strategist in Iowa, to manage his national campaign.
A lobbyist who ran Romney's 2012 Florida fundraising, Brian Ballard, said it was a great day for Bush. He said the former governor had 3 out of 4 major campaign contributors and with Romney out of contention, Bush could take in the remaining 25 percent.
Two of Romney's Chicago fundraisers --- investment executive Bill Kunkler and his wife, Susan Crown --- had switched their support for Bush after Romney bowed out of the race. Kunkler said Bush is the only Republican bet that he and his wife will only work for. He said Bush was the sole contender who passed their presidential test.
However, there will be plenty of competition for the big funders who built the massive Bank of Mitt in 2012.
Getting enough campaign funding, however, is not the only obstacle that Bush has to hurdle with Romney's departure. One of the ex-governor's campaigners said with Romney out of the picture, it raises expectations in an unrealistic way. Bush has to portray himself as sympathetic to voters who see him through the politics of his brother and his father, who used to be presidents.
As the leading Republican contender, Bush and his record will come under severe scrutiny. He expects to be painted as a moderate, with his stand on issues that do not sit well with the Republican base, including backing a legalization process for undocumented workers.
Among the top points Bush is expected to focus on are the stagnant wages of middle-class workers, access to better opportunities for bottom dwellers and targeting minorities that will tilt the scale toward a triumph in 2016.
