YouTube announces its new features during the fifth annual VidCon held in California that would make the fans love the already-popular video-sharing website more.

The latest features unveiled by YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki include a massive translation effort, direct connections between videos and crowd-funding sites, and the YouTube Creator Studio, a mobile app for management and monitoring of videos.

More features that roused the online community's interest were also launched such as a virtual tip-jar, giving YouTube channel owners the ability to make money by soliciting donations from fans; and a 60-frame per second video support for high definition clips.

During the unveiling, Wojcicki first announced "Fan Subtitles", a function that lets fans contribute subtitles and encourages bilingual users to submit translations for their favorite videos. "Our goal is to make it so that every video uploaded to YouTube will be available in every language," she said.

An Android application dubbed as "the YouTube Creator Studio" was also launched to allow creators to access their statistics, respond to comments and receive notifications about their channels' performance. YouTube also said that a similar application for iOS will be unveiled in the near future.

Meanwhile, YouTube will also set up interactive cards that directly link creators' campaigns to crowd-funding sites Indiegogo and Kickstarter and will soon add a virtual tip-jar that supports contributions up to US$500 allowing fans to give 'tips' to their favorite video creators at any time.

Some audio and video enhancements were also made including an Audio Library now complete with royalty-free sounds and a 60-frame per second video support for 'awesome fast paced in-game action footage'.

Other features include 'Info Cards' that overlay videos enabling the audience to click right through to purchase anything from music on the Google Play Store to items from off-Google retailers.
