Lawyer Cites Boston Marathon Shoveler's Photo A Reason To Move Trial

The defense in the Boston Marathon bombing case has found a new reason to move their client's trial - a photograph of a man shoveling snow off the Boston Marathon finish line.
Lawyers for suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev renewed their plea Friday, to move his trial from Massachusetts to Washington D.C. , saying the photograph opened old wounds. This they say, is a proof their client Tsarnaev is unlikely to get a fair trial in Boston.

Last week, following a blizzard that crippled Boston, a man shoveled snow off the finish line along Boylston Street. The act was captured by an employee from a nearby hotel, and posted the photo online. The man was later identified as Chris Laudani, a bartender in a neighborhood restaurant.
Laudani earned so much praises from social media users. Laudani, who ran the Boston Marathon in 2011, said he did it out of love for the marathon.
Tsarnaev's lawyers said it is "unrealistic to expect" that the court will be able to find jurors in Boston who aren't mad at their client.
Tsarnaev, now 21, is suspected to have conspired with his older brother Tamerlan to bomb the Boston Marathon in April 2013. Three people were killed and more than 200 were injured in the attack. Tamerlan was killed in a police manhunt.
Tsarnaev's camp had repeatedly asked to postpone the trial. Defense lawyers had also used the Charlie Hebdo attack to argue for a delay. They said violence stirred "extraordinary prejudice", and that the attack in Paris may have tainted the potential jurors.
Tsarnaev had pleaded not guilty to the bombing. He could face the death penalty once convicted.
