The Raspberry Pi Foundation recently launched its new Raspberry Pi 2, a low-cost credit card-sized single board computer and successor to last year's Raspberry Pi Model B+.
Raspberry Pi 2 is now on sale for $35. It includes a quad-core chip with more memory (1 GB) and a faster processor than its predecessors. Reports say the new computer is six times more powerful than the previous version.

The original Raspberry Pi model was launched in 2012. The foundation launches its computers to promote learning of basic computer science in schools.
"It's been successful beyond our wildest dreams," said Eben Upton, founder of the Raspberry Pi Foundation.
"Over time it's become clear that there is interest among children in learning computing,"
Upton said it will be adding LibreOffice to the reference Raspbian installation in coming months. The hardware will run the usual Linux operating system, including Microsoft's Windows 10.
Reports claim Microsoft will hand out the operating system for free through its Windows Developer Program for IoT this year.
Users will need to attach their own keyboards and monitors to the board. It also comes with a microSD card that contains a copy of an operating system.
