Last year, Chelsea Handler's fans were taken aback when she announced the end of her E! show. And a lot of fans wondered what her new show would be like.

The funny and outspoken comedian sat down with Access Hollywood Live's Billy Bush and Kit Hoover last Monday and gleefully revealed a few details of her new show with the streaming network.

"There are some really interesting celebrities to talk to, but I wanted it to be a different format," the 39-year old answered when asked if her new show would follow the same format of her last.

In the show's new format, Chelsea said that fans will be seeing a more serious side of her.

"If I'm going to speak to somebody maybe we'll spread out the interview over three nights and do other stuff with it. ... I don't want it to be so jokey. I want it to be funny. ... I want it to be like a younger, cooler '60 Minutes.'"

She clarified that she will still be discussing the biggest news of the week, although she will do that in a new and refreshing way.

"[I] can kind of do like a weekly wrap-up, but tongue-in-cheek, and have it be a little more intellectual than what I was doing before," she said. "I love being at Netflix. I'm loving the idea of being at Netflix. That's where it's cool to be. I'm grateful they wanted me, and I'm looking forward to making it something decent."

Unfortunately, fans of Chuy will not be seeing him on the host's new show. She shared joking, "If I didn't rescue him, he would have been in porn movies! He has money now. He can retire or do whatever he wants. No, he won't be in the new show." Chuy was Chelsea's sidekick in "Chelsea Lately."

Aside from her Netflix talk show which is set to air on 2016, Chelsea also has four docu-comedy specials that will premiere on the same network in 2015.
