A Beautiful Woman Must Have a "Perfect Nose" to be Truly Beautiful

Jessica Biel, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Bekinsale and Scarlett Johansson all have perfect noses
It's not only a beautiful white woman's ideally proportioned face or her luxurious lips that tell any man she's beautiful.
It's also the shape of her perfect nose.
Kate Beckinsale, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Scarlet Johansson and Jessica Biel are beautiful also because they have "perfect noses," said a study conducted by plastic surgeons at New York University.

They pointed out that there is a scientific description of a perfect or ideal female nose: it's one upturned at 106 degrees.
The perfect female nose measured from the lip up shows that the optimum angle of rotation at the nasal tip should be 106 degrees.
U.S. plastic surgeons who made the research said, however, there has been no universally accepted standard that defines the most aesthetic combination of nasal features until now.
Their study only looked at young white women, however. It was published online in JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery journal.
Researchers tested public reaction to a range of different angles and rotation in their effort to "design" the most beautiful nose for a young white woman.
They used digital portraits of young white women aged 18 to 25 years. These photos were ranked online by almost 4,000 men and women drawn from the same age group.
The respondents were asked to compare photos of women with noses 96, 101, 106, 111 and 116 degrees to their face.
The study discovered that 106 degrees is consistent with previous research which found out that 104 and 108 degrees were regarded as the highly favorable angles.
Dr. Omar Ahmed of New York University said that "to our knowledge this is the first population-based study to attempt to simultaneously determine the ideal NTP--nasal tip projection--and rotation. A rotation of 106 degrees was found to be the most aesthetic."
He noted that previous attempts to define the ideal shape of the perfect nose have so far been elusive.
Dr. Charles East of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons said there were classical features involved in creating the perfect nose. He said the study's verdict meant the slightly upturned nose of American actress Scarlet Johansson has the ideal shape.
Dr. East, however, said the commonest request among his patients is to have their noses look like Kim Kardashian's and not Johansson's.
He noted that the angle of the nose is only one of the variants used in a personalized approach to rhinoplasty.
