It will be a sad Sunday for Taylor Swift fans, as she announced that she will not be performing in this year's 57th Grammy Awards.
There have been rumors circulating that Taylor will make a surprise appearance at the show, but the fans' anticipation and excitement were squashed when she cleared the rumors in a Tumblr post she posted on Monday.

The 25-year old singer wrote, "I'm really excited to be nominated for 3 Grammys this year and even more excited that I'll be there having dance party/rage fest in the audience."
She continued, "Since my whole life is wrapped up and entangled in the planning of The 1989 World Tour right now, I'm not going to be performing on the Grammys this year. I need this time to focus only on the tour."
"I hope I'll see you out there at one of the stadiums this summer having a rage fest of your own!" she told her fans.
Taylor has been nominated for best pop solo performance, song of the year and record of year. And even though she wouldn't be on stage to perform, she will be on stage to present an award for the best new artist.
Fans may remember Taylor's remarkable performance at last year's Grammy Awards, where she sang her song "All Too Well" from her "Red" album.
While Taylor will be missed at this year's awards show, fans can look forward to seeing AC/DC, Madonna, Sam Smith, Pharrell, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, John Legend, Pharrell, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney perform.
