The bride's stunning gown, which was created by a French designer cost $1 million HKD or approximately $130,000 USD. Ella's father reportedly showered the newlywed couple with lavish gifts, while her uncle gave them jewelry worth more than $1 million HKD ($130,000 USD).
It was a very touching moment for the couple. Both of them cried during their vows and sincerely thanked their parents.
Ella and her doctor-husband met in 2009 in a speed dating event. Ella was said to be impressed by Juan Domingo's medical background, as well as his mixed heritage. Juan Domingo not only currently runs his own clinic in Tsim Sha Tsui but also works as an anesthesiologist at Hong Kong's Queen Mary Hospital.
In November of last year, Ella gleefully shared that Juan Domingo proposed to her while in Paris. Though she revealed that planning the wedding was stressful, she was grateful that she had her fiancé's support and added that they are both happy that the wedding turned out exactly as they hoped.
Both their parents reportedly did not want the media to be there at their wedding, thus the reason why Ella did not invite any of her friends from the entertainment industry.
Ella's music label, Warner Music, confirmed to the public that the couple are now married and are currently in France for their honeymoon. There have been rumors surrounding the couple that the reason they got married was because the "Highs and Lows" star was pregnant, but her representative completely clarified that it wasn't true.
In a statement, Ella said, "I know that many friends in the media are interested in the details of our wedding. However, to respect our parents' wishes, we wanted to keep our wedding low profile and did not invite the press to attend. I hope everyone understands."
Despite getting married, Ella wishes to continue her singing career and venture into other projects within the industry.
