Ricardo Medina Jr., former Power Rangers has recently been let go by the police after the Los Angeles County D.A.'s office concluded that they needed to further investigate his roommate, Joshua Sutter's death.
Ricardo was the alleged suspect for the stabbing of his roommate and got arrested last Saturday. Police said that the actor stabbed Joshua in the abdomen using a sword. His bail was set at US$1 million.

However, he was freed and was able to walk away without charge after a court date on Tuesday asked the sheriff's department to do more investigation into the death of Joshua and to produce more evidence so the D.A.'s office can review and correctly decide whether or not they should proceed with charging the actor. Although they clarified that they haven't ruled out the possibility of charging Medina at a later date.
Deputy Amber Smith told The Hollywood Reporter, "His case was rejected pending further investigation."
Medina is best known for his role as Red Wild Force Ranger on Power Rangers Wild Force in 2002 and as villain Deker in Power Rangers Samurai.
He reportedly had a physical fight with his roommate in their Santa Clarita home. He and his girlfriend went to his bedroom, during which Joshua forced the door open, leading Ricardo to grab the sword by his bedroom door and stab Joshua.
Ricardo was the one who called 911 and waited until the authorities arrived at the house.
After walking out of jail on Tuesday, Ricardo told the media, "I'm very, very, very sorry for what occurred. I'm very happy to be out of jail, and my heart goes out to the Sutter family."
