Xiaomi Budget Redmi Note Smartphone
Powered by a high performance octa-core processor, and a 5.5 inch display Xiaomi's Redmi Note Smartphone will be rolled out in several Asian countries next month.
Not only Redmi Note comes with a larger display than its predecessor Redmi, it also has better specs. It has 2GB RAM and a storage memory of 8GB, both twice of Redmi.

The phone will be available in an attractive plastic body, and the people will be able to purchase it from the Xiaomi web store. In Singapore the phone will launched on July 8, and will cost around $199. In Hong Kong the phone will be available on June 27, and will cost around US$159. In Malaysia, the phone will be available for purchase on July 22, and will cost circa US$157.
Just like Redmi one of the best features of Redmi Note is its dual SIM capability. This feature is excellent for travelers who want to use their own SIM along with a local SIM with which they can make cheaper calls.
Other specifications of Redmi Note include a powerful 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. It has Android 4.2.2 OS with Xiaomi's own interface on top of it. The 5.5 inch display has 1,280x720-pixel resolution.
Xiaomi has also announced the launch of successor of Redmi, Redmi 1S, on July 8, in Malaysia. The phone will be priced at US$129 and will have a 4.7 inch display, with 1,280x720-pixel resolution. It will have 8 GB of storage memory and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
