Member of Congress Breaks Self-Driving Car
Staff Reporter | | Jun 28, 2014 03:40 PM EDT |
Scientists from Carnegie Mellon University decided to allow members of the U.S. Congress try their new self-driving car, little did they know that their masterpiece will be ruined.
It was another example to show that people cannot simply trust Congress. And while it is not clear why or how the Congressman made it happen, it is quite clear, as our sources reveal, that the specially equipped and self-driving Cadillac SRX has given up the ghost.

The spokesperson for both the House Transportation Committee and Carnegie Mellon has agreed on every single aspect of the car fiasco. However, the person decided not to further comment on the issue.
Now that the actual case is not disclosed, there are many doors open for the possibilities of the breaking down of the car. It could be possible that the member of committee was present in the car and in an attempt of taking control of the steering wheel broke it down. Or, in another possible scenario, two, instead of one congressman decided to get in the car, and ended up in a fight on who should take control of the steering wheel.
NBS Washington has pointed to the Congresswoman Eleanor Norton. Norton, who represents the District of Columbia and sits on the Highways and Transit Subcommittee of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure hit the kill switch on the car.
A member of Congress is so used to halting things- bills, progress, ideas, etc.- that her first action on confronting something new is to kill it. This explains the present case very well.
