Protesters showed up and interrupted Google's Annual Developers conference in San Francisco, this Wednesday.
The first person to protest, a woman had a certain complaint against Google, including Jack Halprin, one of the company's staff attorneys. The woman alleged that Halprin had evicted her and several others from an apartment building is owned by him.

It was when Google's engineering director Dave Burke was giving a presentation on performance improvements under new Android Runtime, that the woman stood up and interrupted by shouting: "You need to develop a conscience, Google." The woman also claimed that Halprin evicted mothers living in that building who breastfed their babies.
A blogger based in San Francisco had also blogged about a mother, who could have been the protester herself, and six other people living in that seven-apartment building that Halprin owned, were provided with eviction notices in February.
Burke tried to ignore the protestor and continued his presentation, but soon gave up and waited for the security to take the women out of the conference room. After that he resumed his presentation and joked that new Android Runtime will have better battery life, which could last even during protests.
After an hour passed another protestor showed up, right after a video presentation which was focused on Google's efforts to get school children into coding and building apps that matter to them.
A spokesperson from Google stated that both the protestors were calmly escorted out of the conference room, and neither of them were arrested.
