Two students were shot outside a school gymnasium in Maryland, while a basketball game was taking place Wednesday night.
Police said the two students from Frederick High School suffered non life-threatening injuries. The shooter remains at large.
Frederick County public schools spokesman Michael Doerrer said two junior varsity games were ongoing when the shooting happened.

Frederick High School junior Sofia McCluskey recalled she was watching the game when she heard a shot.
"Someone yelled, 'Yo, they're shooting,'" she said. "And we just ran as fast as we could."
McCluskey and her friend, Stephanie Sanchez, ran to the locker room. They were later taken by police and some 200 other people to the cafeteria, where they were asked to wait and briefly interviewed by investigators.
Sanchez said she still couldn't move on from the frightening experience.
"I was, like, shaking the whole time. I still am," she said.
Frederick Police Department Officer Lt. Bruce DeGrange said the school was immediately locked down as witnesses were questioned.
Frederick Police Captain Richard Hetherington said students were released to their parents before midnight. The situation turned emotional as parents hugged their children.
Dana Wiles, mother of a Frederick High school sophomore student, said her daughter sent a text message about 8:40 p.m. saying she saw how the shooting happened.
"She's not coming back to any more basketball games. I'm keeping her home with me," Wiles said.
Tanika Mayweather, whose 15-year-old son Lawrence played at the games, said she's not letting her son play for the school again.
"We'll have our basketball games out in the park," Mayweather said.
School officials had tweeted all staff and students were safe and accounted for. The school has also suspended classes on Thursday.
Unconfirmed reports have been tweeted that the shooters were four male african americans -- all of them were wearing black.
Frederick High School has about 1,300 students.
