Snoop Dogg's Son, Cornell Broadus, Plays Wide Receiver Position for UCLA

Cordell Broadus, son of rap superstar Snoop Dogg, has committed to playing wide receiver for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He overlooks top teams like Arizona State and University of South Carolina (USC).

Broadus is ranked as a four-star recruit. He is ranked as the 26th wide receiver in the class of 2015 as reported by 247Sports' own rankings.

As a product of Las Vegas' Bishop Gorman High School, Broadus exhibits supreme agility, a long lean frame that is still growing, and talent on the field embodied by his supreme running ability.

Apart from all that, Bleacher Report's Michael Felder is impressed with Broadus' ability to take hits, as well as his killer instinct on the field, which he uses to finish his runs.

At 6'2" and 195 pounds, he could become even more of a threat down the line when he puts on 10 to 15 pounds more.

Hopes are high for Broadus as people expect him to contribute heavily to the team within his first two years of playing.

In terms of size and ball-handling skills, the future Bruin is already a threat. However, with added weight power, he could very well be a game-changer on the outside.

Despite his father's large shadow looming above him, the young Broadus was not deterred from achieving his own greatness on his own terms.

Broadus isn't the only prospect that UCLA has signed.

UCLA coach Jim Mora said that they now have the number 1 star rating in the United States because of their new players.

"The No. 1 quarterback [Josh Rosen], the No. 1 running back [Soso Jamabo], the No. 1 tight end [Chris Clark], the No. 1 offensive guard [or center, Fred Ulu-Perry] and the No. 1 offensive line class in America. That's pretty impressive."

Combined with Broadus, UCLA looks to be a force unleashed this coming season.
