Katy Perry's dancing sharks, especially the left shark stole the Super Bowl halftime show, so there is no doubt why it has suddenly become an overnight phenomenon.
Just a few hours after the Super Bowl, different memes were generated off of the left shark and Fernando Sosa was quick to turn it into a business venture.

Fernando Sosa is an expert in 3-D printing and is commonly known for printing politically themed sculptures, as well as a few "not safe for work" ones and then sell them online. When he heard about how popular Katy's dancing shark is, he instantly had a business idea and immediately created and printed a figure of the shark. He then put it up for sale on his website for US$24.99 a few hours after the Super Bowl.
However, that new business opportunity was short-lived as on Wednesday, he suddenly received a letter from the 30-year old singer.
It read, "Our client [Perry] recently has learned that you have been involved in the manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution of merchandise featuring a shark sculpture which embodies and uses the [Super Bowl halftime show], and that you have displayed this product on your website, in connection with such sale and distribution."
The letter which came from the law offices of Greenberg Traurig demanded Shapeways.com, which is Edward's website, as well as the website where he sells his products, to "cease and desist selling the product," and hand in any related products he had in his possession.
The letter has already been confirmed as authentic by a representative from the law firm.
Commenting on the issue, Edward said, "Well, it looks like dictators and world leaders like Putin and Kim Jong Un or Chris Christie are much easier to deal with," he continued, "So I probably will go back to doing pieces about them and other world leaders. All this lawyer crap is very stressful."
