To say the Heists DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5 Online is highly anticipated is a big understatement. Rumors seemingly pop up every week and this week is no different, as rumors have been surfacing that suggests Heists will be released on Feb. 24.
Rockstar Games has been delaying the release of Heists for almost an entire year now. The game developer initially promised the launch of Heists in the spring of 2014, but that later turned into a promise of "by the end of 2014" and quickly to the current promise of an "early 2015" release.

All the delays has sparked and debunked several rumors on the official release date of when Heists would be coming to GTA Online, and the most recent rumor suggests that the DLC would be coming late this month.
According to multiple media outlets, the rumor first began after the official PlayStation store listed that the Heists DLC would become accessible to gamers on Feb. 24. However, the alleged listing has since been removed from the store and can no longer be seen
Considering Rockstar typically release DLCs on a Tuesday, the Feb. 24 release date fits in with its past releases of downloadable content. The game developer recently mentioned that the Heists DLC would be released in the weeks leading up to the GTA 5 PC launch on March, 24, and the potential Feb. 24 release date would be consistent with those plans as well.
While GTA 5 has been the most successful video game in game console history, new content must constantly be released to keep things fresh for gamers. GTA enthusiasts presumably won't be able to endure another delay and would likely move on to other games if they haven't already.
