Mercedes-Benz's offering for the autonomous car industry was finally revealed last month and it's the F015 Luxury in Motion self-driving car.

The F015 Luxury in Motionis an impressive machine, according to MLive. It measures 17 feet in length and 5 feet in height and is silver in color.

Inside the autonomous car is a windshield equipped with electronic display. The electronic seats can be spun around so its passengers have the option to look at each other while on the road.

Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche said before 2015 comes to a conclusion, the car company will introduce "a total of eight new Mercedes models." He also pointed out the expert automakers are putting more effort into the development of hybrid models.

Officials at Mercedes-Benz made further statements revealing its list of hybrid car models will have more offerings next year.

Daimler has plans of changing the way people will think about self-driving vehicles, according to Reuters. This is after Zetsche stated, "Anyone who focuses solely on the technology has not yet grasped how autonomous driving will change our society."

He also mentioned how the roles and functions of automobiles are already changing and expanding from simple transportation means to ultimate "mobile living" spaces.

One of the key components Daimler focused on in the past is the development of automated systems for better, simpler and safer operation. The company's efforts included innovations in steering and braking systems.
