Rosie O'Donnell does not have any idea why her marriage to Michelle Rounds failed, but it does seem like she's taking the breakup well, as she is already cracking jokes about it.

The comedian made her first public appearance at the Athena Film Festival last Saturday since she announced that she will be leaving the daytime talk show, "The View" and has split with wife of two years, Michelle Rounds. After the screening of the standup special, Rosie immediately said, "Don't ask."

The 52-year old also made fun of her career and the changes in her home-life by declaring her newly single status.

Rosie has returned to doing standup comedy shows and has a new show entitled, "Rosie O'Donnell: A Heartfelt Stand Up", which airs on Valentine's Day on HBO. The show, which probably seems like the best way for Rosie to deal with the heartache, was filmed way back in December in front of a live audience and reportedly contains several references to her ex-wife, Michelle.

As for her departure from the view, Cindi Berger, a representative for Rosie released a statement and said, She's focused on her kids now. This is the right thing for her to do. The stress of a daily live talk show is a lot-and the separation is a lot, and you reach a certain point where you have to put health and family first, and she has."

ABC executives are reportedly not rushing to find someone to replace Rosie. Ever since Barbara Walters, who established the show retired back in 1997, "The View" has been hashing out ways to reinvent the show. Despite that, however, the show has been found to perform better than their rival, "The Talk."

While Rosie's departure from the show is saddening for many, execs at ABC believe that she will come back as a guest. The network revealed, "We know she'll return to 'The View' often with her unique point of view and updates on her work and her family."
