Miss Universe Pauline Vega has just received an unusual invitation from her country's largest rebel group.
Colombia's FARC rebels had asked Vega to visit them in Havana to help strike a peace deal with the Colombian government.
The Revolutionary Armed Forces' invitation was triggered by a statement made by the beauty queen during a post pageant interview, saying she was "willing to go to Havana, so that a peace deal can be signed."

In a statement they posted on their website, FARC rebels had welcomed Vega's "willingness" to visit Havana. "We invite you to materialise your visit to update you about the development of the peace talks," the group added.
Vega has not responded to the offer yet, while FARC rebels gave no further details on how the Miss Universe can help.
The group has been in armed conflict with the government for the past 5 decades, killing over 200,000 innocent civilians , and displacing 6 million people.
Peace negotiations between the two sides have been underway for more than two years, since its launch in Oslo in November 2012. But both sides are now at a deadlock, after the rebels accused the government of railroading the talks.
An agreement has so far been reached on few issues, such as land reform and FARC's participation in formal politics. Despite this, a final peace deal remains elusive.
Vega, a 22-year-old business administration student, was crowned Miss Universe last January 25 in Florida. The last time a Colombian wore the crown was in 1958, a year following a bloody partisan war known as "The Violence".
