The actor also hosted "a meet and greet" session for the fans in Manukan Island, Kota Kinabalu last February 8.
"This is a very beautiful place to visit. The seafood is fabulous and I think Sabah is the perfect place to visit if you love beaches as well as seafood," said Chun, during an interview after the "meet and greet" session with the fans.
The "meet and greet" event was organized by Sabah Tourism Board and Royal Brunei Airlines, which is in collaboration with the Sutera Harbour Resort.
Fans from Hong Kong and China also had the opportunity to spend time with Chun and they each received individually signed autographed posters.
"I really enjoy coming to Sabah and will not get bored visiting this place," the 35 year old actor further added.
Chun, who was born in Brunei but raised in Taiwan, shared that it only takes 30 minutes of airtime travel from his birthplace to Kota Kinabalu.
Chun also explained that he always felt safe in Sabah, despite the issues arising such as kidnapping and chaos.
"I own a gym in Brunei and we may come to Sabah to climb Mount Kinabalu as I have heard so many stories about this mountain from friends. I hear you can literally see clouds halfway to the top," said Chun.
After the event in Sabah, Chun is also set to visit Hong Kong and Singapore as part of the Royal Airlines Tour.
