It seems the heavens really do smile upon us.
There's this weird constellation of stars that seems to be smiling amid the cold blackness of space. To astronomers and those who've seen it, this group of stars resembles a celestial smiley. Some call it a galactic happy face.

Photos of galaxy cluster SDSS J1038+4849 released by NASA distinctly show a round face with two glowing orange eyes, a white button nose and a big, wide smile. They were taken by the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope.
The Hubble website said the glowing "eyes" are really very bright galaxies. The "smile" is a space effect known as "strong gravitational leasing" caused by a massive body between a distant object and the Earth, resulting in the appearance of two or more objects where only one exists.
NASA described galaxy clusters as the most massive structures in the Universe. These clusters exert such a powerful gravitational pull that they warp the spacetime around them and act as cosmic lenses that magnify, distort and bend the light behind them.
This phenomenon can be explained by Einstein's theory of general relativity. NASA said in this special case of gravitational lensing, a ring -- known as an Einstein Ring -- is produced from this bending of light.
This is a consequence of the exact and symmetrical alignment of the source, lens and observer and resulting in the ring-like structure seen in the smiling galaxy.
The smiling galaxy was studied by Hubble's Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC2) and Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) as part of a survey of strong lenses.
