According to a report by What’s On Xiamen, passengers can now skip some check-in procedures and save a lot of time with the airport’s “One Pass” service.
With the new system, passengers can now have their boarding passes, check in their luggage and pass security check more efficiently.
Using their own second-generation ID cards, passengers can apparently save an estimated 40 minutes for the check-in procedures if they take flights at the Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport.
The “One Pass” service, described WOX, is a “self-developed security system,” integrating both the functions of check-in and security checks at the airport.
The statement released by the airport directed passengers to avail of the new services at the A, E, F and G channels at the Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport.
Self-help machines at the airport are available for passengers with no check-in luggage. The report said that they can re-print their boarding passes at the airport, using the touch screen platform found at the airport.
For passengers with no luggage to check in, they are advised to proceed to B12 channel of the Xiamen airport.
A self-help machine can help passengers check in their baggage in just 60 seconds. The airport’s clients are allowed to use the self-help luggage check-in machine after they've secured their boarding pass and successfully checked in using the convenience services offered by the Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport.
