Samsung's next-generation Galaxy Mega 2 will be bigger and more sophisticated in more ways than one, according to recently reported test results.
The benchmark test, which was conducted by technology website, GFXBench, shows that Samsung is the authority when it comes to phablets (or phone-tablets).

Although not the first smartphone manufacturer to launch different handsets with larger displays, Samsung changed the smartphone market by popularizing its phablets worldwide.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Mega phablet line outdating the HTC One Max and Nokia Lumia 1520. It seems likely that the company will soon launch an improved and more sophisticated version of its previous Mega handsets.
GFXBench listed that Galaxy Mega 2 will feature a giant 5.9-inch display along with an HD (720x1280 pixel) screen resolution. It will be Samsung's first smartphone to have a 64-bit processor along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core chipset. Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 will also have a 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 12-megapixel rear camera, and an Android 4.4.3 KitKat.
Fans of Samsung handsets should expect to see a microSD card slot, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi support, GPS, and NFC.
Samsung has not yet release an official statement when it will release the smartphone or if it will be available in the U.S. market.
Meanwhile, Samsung also released the Galaxy S5 mini on Tuesday but they did not disclose the price details of the said handset. It will be available in Russia starting early July, but the global release is still pending.
