Apple has forced iProduct accessory makers to sign an agreement not to leak or launch products before Apple announces the device, in a new clamp-down on internal leaks.

Some accessory makers have jumped onto the leaking hype train by launching iPhone and iPad accessories before Apple even launches the new dimensions.

Apple is the hottest commodity when it comes to leaks, and with new partnerships in Taiwan and China it has started to lose control of internal secrets.

The iPhone 6 was the most obvious example of this complete lack of control over Eastern leaks. The smartphone's new dimensions, features and even size and weight were known well before an official launch.

Holding accessory partners down will limit the amount of leaked information that hits the presses. Apple, however, still needs to make certain assurances with its third-parties on supply being stolen and subsequently leaked online.

Apple is notorious for holding secrets at its own HQ in Cupertino. Only a few dozen engineers are allowed into Jony Ive's secret studio where most of the early designs for iProducts are worked on.

The issue centers on the last six months of product development when Apple sends the specifications to third-party manufacturers. Apple decided to part ways with its factories over a decade ago, one of Tim Cook's greatest decisions to bring Apple back to profitability.

Apple isn't the only company working hard to stop leaks. Sony apparently forces engineers and designers not to take photos and IDs people on the doors to design labs. This keeps internal secrets from spreading.

Google's X Labs is another very mysterious team working on the future of Google. Nobody's allowed through its doors and only whispers manage to hit the press on what is being worked on.
