After the car crash that left one woman dead, Bruce Jenner submitted to a sobriety and blood test and the results turned out negative.
According to a report, Bruce was not under the influence at the time the accident happened. Therefore there was nothing in his system that might have affected his driving ability at the time he rear-ended the Lexus.

A source revealed to TMZ said, "He was balanced out. He wasn't under the influence. We know that," and added that the blood tests he took would reveal anything that he had in his system, even hormonal drugs. The source, further clarified that they are confident that drugs and alcohol were not contributing factors to the accident.
After investigating the accident, authorities found out that the woman, Hollywood agent Jessica Marie Steindorff who was the first one who got rear-ended by Kim Howe, was driving with a suspended license, a suspension that was still in effect during the accident.
There were reports that Jessica Marie was attempting to do an illegal U-turn, which might have been the reason why she got hit by the Lexus. However, her lawyer, Roger Simon has revealed that those reports have been disproven. "The story that she was making an illegal u-turn is 100 percent false. She was meeting with a client in Zuma. She has the text messages that prove it," he told The News.
Kim Howe, the driver of the Lexus who hit Jessica Marie suffered from blunt chest trauma. Her car was forced to go into the opposite lane after getting rear-ended by Bruce Jenner, where it got hit by a Hummer. Kim, who was the Kardashians' neighbor, died later at the scene.
