Beyonce Changes Song Lyrics, Fuels Jay Z Infidelity Rumors

Superstar duo Beyonce and Jay Z are deep into the North America portion of their joint 'On the Run' tour, displaying what seems to be signs of marital happiness, but that hasn't stopped any speculations regarding the possibility of infidelity on Jay Z's part.

On their most recent stop in Cincinnati, Ohio, Queen B started an online frenzy when she changed the lyrics of her musical number 'Resentment', a recent hit from the entertainer’s 2006 album titled 'B'Day.'

According to fans present during the concert, Beyonce changed the last four words in the phrase: "like I couldn't do it for you like your mistress could" to "like that whack bitch could."

Later on in the song, the singer also changed "been ridin' with you for six years..." to "been ridin' with you for twelve years."

As Beyonce and Jay Z got together in 2002, and 'Resentment' is known to be a song written from the perspective of a woman being cheated on, the personal changes in the lyrics have led many fans to speculate that the singing diva is trying to make a point.

Jay Z has been at the center of numerous cheating rumors lately and, after video footage emerged earlier this year showing the rapper being attacked in an elevator by Beyonce's sister, Solange, critics and fans alike have been liberal in their assumptions that the fight was due to questionable behavior on Jay Z's part.

Bey, on the other hand, isn't confirming nor denying any of it. Instead, the singer revealed that she has often revamped the song and pointed to year-old performance videos as proof.

What seems more likely is that this is an attempt at garnering attention for what is already turning out to be a successful tour. The couple also lit up the internet last month when they showed private video footage of their wedding to adoring fans at their opening concert.
