Uma Thurman finally spoke out about her red carpet makeup mishap. In an interview on the "Today" show, the Oscar-nominated actress confessed that she rather looked "weird" when she stepped into the red carpet earlier this week. The Kill Bill star nevertheless dissed the harsh gossip that she has gone through surgery, but still hit her unattractive make-up.

The iconic actress landed the news this week after she attended the screening of her new TV series The Slap, looking rather different from her usually ravishing look.
Her new look sparked rumors that the 44-year-old actress has gone through cosmetic procedure. However, make-up artist Troy Surratt, who created that look, admitted that it was her makeup that made the difference.
Surratt revealed that he and Uma wanted to create a new look for Uma-although it seems her fans and the press didn't like it. Surratt used a pencil to bolden and lift her eyebrow without any mascara as well as a strong color for her lips.
"I know I look weird... I guess nobody liked my make-up... I've been doing this for years and years and years, and people say things nice and people say things mean (sic). And it's just like, 'Whatever!'... You take the good with the bad," she said on NBC's Today show.
Thurman earned the same kind of criticism that hit Renee Zellweger last October after she stepped out on the red carpet with that new look. Renee, however, still looks different, while Uma looked very much herself during her Today guesting.
Despite the makeup mishap, Uma still looks the beautiful her on her new NBC show The Slap, which hits the small screen starting Thursday night.
