The movie will be hitting the big screens of 430 theaters on March 26 and March 31 and reports that the showtime will only be at 7:30 P.M.

Aside from the actual film, fans will also be treated to several bonus features including interviews with some of the cast members, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy and John Kapelos, as well as interviews with prominent film makers, Oscar-winner Diablo Cody, screenwriter of Juno, Amy Heckerling, writer and director of Clueless and Michael Lehmann, director of Heathers.

The Breakfast Club was released in February 1985 and despite having a mere budget of US$1 million, it was a big hit earning more than US$5 million during its opening weekend, and more than US$45 million in U.S. sales alone, as reported by Box Office Mojo.

The film, which was directed by John Hughes, also helped launch the careers of the stars it featured, as well as popularize the Scottish band, Simple Minds, best known for their song, "Don't You (Forget About Me), which became the movie's anthem.

In an interview, way back in 1997, John Hughes enlightened fans as to why he chose to use that song, explaining that he wanted people to remember the movie every time they hear it. He said that he played the song in the movie three times, so that at the end of the movie, vieweres will get it. And it did. Adding that he found it really fun to "make a hit of a band, that I gave a platform to a band that didn't have one before."

And now 30 years later, it's hard not to think about the "The Breakfast Club" every time "Don't You (Forget About Me) plays.

The 30th Anniversary of the "The Breakfast Club" is presented by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, BY Experience and Fathom Events. Tickets will go on sale on Friday through Fathom's Digital Network.

For fans who will not be able to get their tickets, the film's 30th Anniversary edition will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray in stores and online on March 10, two weeks before the movie returns to theaters.
