Madonna is not too keen on seeing the "50 Shades of Grey" movie this Valentine's weekend. Why? Because she has read the book and revealed that she wasn't impressed with it. In fact, there is one part that she finds extremely disappointing.

When the pop star sat down with Billboard to talk about her new and upcoming album "Rebel Heart", she revealed what she thought about the much talked about novel and movie.

"It's not very sexy," she said, although she continued and explained that it might have an appeal toward a particular subset of people, like those who might not have experienced sex before.

She said she was waiting for something crazy and exciting to happen especially in Christian Grey's Red Room of Pain but found that nothing else much happened but spanking.

Throughout the 56-year old "Living for Love" singer's 30 plus-year career, she has always been known to push the envelope and confidently own her sexuality.

While the erotic novel aims to do the same, she thinks that some of the plotlines were just unbelievable, like how much Christian goes down on Anastasia.

The queen of pop, who was one of the performers at the recently concluded Grammy awards, told Billboard that she is proud that she gets to empower women and inspire them to own their sexuality, too.

She added that even at her 50s, she still continues to express herself and her sexuality despite getting "a lot of s--t for it. The upside is that Miley Cyrus won't be getting the same s--t for it in 20 years because people will think it's nothing new, Madonna said.

So is there something new for Madonna? She revealed that her views on the Catholic Church, with whom she had a history of clashing with, especially the Pope, have changed.

She thinks Pope Francis is groovy, and that they can get together and maybe even talk about sex.

Madonna's new album "Rebel Heart" will be available on March 10.
