After succeeding in a case on racial and gender discrimination, a Scotland Yard armed officer Carol Howard goes free on bail while being probed regarding three cases filed against her, including two for allegedly attacking a man.
The 35-year-old firearms officer who won her employment tribunal case for race and gender discrimination is currently under investigation on suspicion of assault earlier this year.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed Howard's suspension from duty in April on the grounds of assault, harassment, making threats to damage property, altering the course of justice, witness intimidation and possession of an indecent image of a child.
One of the arrests of the Diplomatic Protection Group officer is believed to be connected to her private life, which purportedly took place at a South London police station where her former husband is based as a police officer.
Earlier this week, Howard triumphed in a racial and gender discrimination case she filed in an employment tribunal against her senior officer, Acting Inspector Dave Kelly who repeatedly bullied her for almost a year after she joined the 'overwhelmingly male and white' group.
Reports about the case also indicate that Met was 'covering up' the discrimination by deleting internal records.
"We anticipate that wherever there's findings of discrimination they are being instructed to delete them," Kiran Daurka, Howard's lawyer told reporters of BBC adding that it is the 'policy' of Met police to do this so they can avoid probing their officers.
Dismayed by the tribunal's findings, Mayor of London Boris Johnson agreed to review prior complaints within the Metropolitan Police to find out if records have been really altered.
After a series of internal queries and thorough probe, the tribunal ruled in favor of PC Howard igniting more investigations over other discrimination cases that were allegedly covered up within the four walls of the Scotland Yard.
