Reality star Bruce Jenner, currently transitioning into a woman, reportedly revealed to his family that he knew that he was meant to be a female since he was five years old, according to Daily Mail.

Family sources revealed that he kept his "true self" inside since childhood and even during the 1976 Olympic Games. The former Olympian also has never been "female" in front of his children, according to TMZ.

Jenner still has to reveal his preferred female name and doesn't have any plans of disclosing it in the most anticipated interview with Diane Sawyer. Jenner and Sawyer are still in the final talks of the scheduled interview.

The 65 year old has been through a lot these past few weeks. After surviving the Malibu car crash, he is still trying to move on from the recent accident.

The reality star, wearing a black hoodie with trousers, was spotted at a Malibu coffee shop, doing his morning routine and ordered a hot coffee with yogurt.

Jenner also emphasizes the fact that his famous daughters shouldn't discuss his transition until he is ready to do so. A docuseries is in the works, following his transition from a man to a woman, though he fears that what he would disclose on E! would also be leaked during the filming of the documentary, according to TMZ.

Jenner's immediate family expressed their support for his transition. However, for some fans, this came as a shock.

"I can't believe Bruce Jenner is trying to become a woman. He was a hero of mine since I was involved in track a long time ago #SayItsNotTrue," says Doyle Brunson, a legendary poker player who no longer considers Jenner to be his 'hero' since the transition reports.

"I remember the pride I felt when Bruce Jenner ran around the track waving an American flag after setting records in Olympics. Bruce's transition to a woman was confirmed today. He may be still some people's hero but not me," Brunson further added.

The media tried to contact Jenner for additional comment on this issue.
