The two young artists have already been attracting the attention of the public, and anticipation for their upcoming debut is building as they will be the first Korean-Chinese duo group ever that will be entering the music market.
Starhaus Entertainment, a notable talent outfit in Korea, the same company where 'Boys Over Flowers' star Lee Min Ho is under, has released a statement which confirmed the news. The company has stated that they will be working very closely with SMG in order to promote mutual progress, their first collaboration project being the Smile Girls.
According to media reports, Yoo and Zheng will be making their debut as the Smile Girls through a popular show entitled 'Chunwan' which is a program under Easter Satellite TV. 'Chunwan' is known among people as a show patronized by hundreds of millions of viewers every year.
Furthermore, the variety program is said to be so popular that even the most notable celebrities known today have encountered difficulties trying to make an appearance in the show.
Due to the same reasons, it came as a surprise and a huge feat in itself how a new group such as the Smile Girls secured a spot on the show, which will be serving as their stage for their debut.
