Rapper Afroman was pulled by police officers from the stage after he allegedly punched a female fan Tuesday in Biloxi, Miss.
The rapper, famous for his song "Because I Got High," was said to be performing when a woman went on stage and approached him. As video obtained by TMZ can reveal that the signer was playing a guitar when all of a sudden, he turned to her and punched her straight in the face. Rumors have it that the musician resumed playing even after the woman fell on the ground, bleeding and crying, until the house lights were turned on and the music stopped playing. Security then came in to assist the woman offstage, while police escorted Afroman, handcuffed outside the venue.

Afroman's reps told Billboard that the singer's reaction was just because he was surprised by the lady. He didn't see her when he turned his back and accidentally punched her, the rep explained.
"This was a completely involuntary reflex reaction to people infringing on his stage space," a statement said.
"It was uncharacteristic behavior that was initiated by outside uncontrolled forces."
According to his rep, the lack of security in venue, which was actually specified on his rider always gets the singer in trouble over fans who want to come up on stage.
