Now dubbed as 'the odd couple,' Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez were seen sharing a kiss while aboard a fishing boat during their vacation in Sardinia, Italy on Sunday.

The 26-year-old High School Musical star has recently flown to the Mediterranean island with his friends including the 35-year-old actress.

While off the coast, the two have been spotted cuddling and kissing several times as Just Jared reports that the two seem to be 'more than friends.'

With images of the steamy scene fuelling talks about the 'odd couple,' some may question Efron's statement a few weeks back about not having time to commit in a serious relationship because he "don't want to go into a relationship in which I can't one hundred percent commit to that person all the time," he said in an interview with the British newspaper Metro.

According to reports, Zac Efron believes himself to be more like his character in his recent movie That Awkward Moment where his character, Jason, struggles to adjust from randomly dating different women to committing to a relationship with his love interest Ellie played by Imogen Poots.

Meanwhile, the Fast and Furious actress was reported to "have quite a way with young and impressionable celebrities" noting her recent split up with British model Cara Delevingne in June, the Daily Mail reports.

The group has been on vacation for more than a week. As to whether the two are officially dating, no reports have confirmed it yet though photos show how sweet they are with each other.
