British rock band Kasabian's front man Tom Meighan proved he isn't a fan of either One Direction or the Spice Girls when he threw some major shade at the popular boy band and girl group.
The 34-year old rocker dissed the extremely popular boy band at the recently concluded NME Awards in London, where his band took home the award for Best British Band and Best Album for 48:13, which contains their hit track "Eez-eh."

When asked about One Direction, he told The Sun, "They're f-cking millionaires but they're five no-ones who won the lottery." He continued and made an analogy referencing the Spice Girls, "They're massive, but they're a product, we're not. They're like shampoo. You buy it to put in your hair and wash it out, like the Spice Girls."
But he didn't stop there, he attempted to predict One Direction's future by telling the U.K. newspaper that the boy band members will eventually get angry with one another, have a falling out and do drugs. Then "they'll wanna be f-cking arty and do something clever and they'll break up."
One Direction, a British boy band consisting of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan has yet to comment on Meighan's remarks, while The Spice Girls, made up of Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown have not performed together in years, although they reunited to perform at the 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony.
Both groups were a result of singing competitions. The boy band was formed back in 2010 on The X Factor after the five of them individually auditioned, while The Spice Girls was formed after the girls responded to a newspaper ad.
Both groups enjoyed enormous success. One Direction is currently number 7 on Forbes' 2014 world's highest-paid musicians list, while The Spice Girls have sold more than 80 million records at the time.
When Meighan accepted the award for Best British Band, he expressed that they are very humble, privileged and proud to win, as they "have been together a long f-king time," and shared that they started when they were just 16 years old.
One Direction has such a huge and loyal fan base that we can simply hope Meighan does not run into.
