Lee Daniels spoke about the issue that Oscar-winning actress Mo'Nique was blacklisted in Hollywood.
In an interview with ET, the 55-year-old director of Precious said, perhaps, that's how Mo'Nique understood it.
However, Daniels also aired his own take on the issue, saying Mo'Nique actually "pissed" Hollywood peeps with her sudden change of attitude after her Oscar Winn.

"What I told her was, she asked me, 'Why haven't I worked?' And I said, 'You pissed a lot of people off. You know, you were making demands,'" he explained.
Daniels still has a lot of love and respect for the 47-year-old The Parkers actress, who snagged the Oscar for Supporting Actress for her stirring performance as the abusive mother in the 2009 drama.
He also said that he was really interested to see her work on movies again.
"I want to work with her again. I keep it real all the time. She asked a question, I answered the question. Maybe something will come along. Hopefully something will come along -- I mean, she was fabulous in [Precious], wasn't she?"
Mo'Nique also accused Daniels of stealing roles that should have been given to her, including the role that Oprah Winfrey played in both The Butler and the Richard Pryor biopic.
The actress also defended herself against rumors that she's difficult to work with. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, the actress lashed at those "people are who say, 'Mo'Nique is difficult,'" as "heartless, ruthless or treat people like they're worthless."
