According to a source, it was not about the movie or her portrayal of the submissive Anastasia that caused the breakup. The source told the magazine that it was over the holidays when the couple broke up.
The source continued, "Her life was getting too crazy and it wasn't something that he wanted to be a part of."
Another source also revealed to the magazine that their split was cordial, saying that "It wasn't a bad break."
Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith's daughter is reportedly already dating and "casually seeing a few people."
The 25 year old's movie alongside Jamie Dornan, has already earned more than US$300 million worldwide and US$100 million in the US in just one week since it premiered.
Fans have also been hoping for an announcement about the film adaptation of the second book in the series, unfortunately, talks about the sequel, "Fifty Shades Darker" have been delayed because Universal Execs are still in disagreement with the author, E.L. James due to her demand that she take over the script writing for the next two movies.
Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson and screenwriter Kelly Marcel have also reportedly pulled out from the franchise due to difficulties working with James.
