Google has launched Inbox on Android tablets and iPad.
Google has launched its Inbox email service on iPad and Android tablets after an early beta launch on the web.
The email service is part of a new redesign at Gmail, looking for the best way for users to access email and categorize it. Inbox offers various categories and changes the importance of different emails, allowing a more dynamic view.

Google currently offers Inbox as a separate experience, meaning there are two Gmail clients to choose from alongside services like Mailbox.
Inbox is currently in beta and invite only. Users have to send an email to the Google Gmail team describing why they want an invite.
There is no current timeline to know when Inbox will be available for everyone to use. Google hasn't made any plans to integrate Inbox with the original Gmail experience.
Most of this will probably be answered at Google I/O in June, including questions on other services like Maps, Search, YouTube and even Google Glass.
Google recently shut down Sparrow, an email service available on Mac OS X and iOS it acquired in 2013 for $25 million. It looks like the search giant is trying to consolidate its email services.
