North Korean leader Kim Jung Un's new hairdo and eyebrows, which he showed to the public for the first time on Wednesday at the meeting of the Workers' Party of Korea in Pyongyang, is not only the talk of the town.

It also inspired creative minds to make memes, applying the same hairstyle and eyebrow on other celebrities.

One of the first meme to come out on Friday was that of U.S. President Barack Obama, posted by Sachin Kalbag in Reddit and Twitter. Save for his suit and the White House logo background, Obama could pass for a rapper.

Mashable applied only the half-shaved eyebrows, described by some as looking like single quotation marks, on Academy Award-winning actress Meryl Streep, while Daily Mail pointed out that it was Will Smith who sported that hairdo in the early 1990s.

Dylan Boyd compared Kim's hairdo to Kid'n Play, while Huffington Post UK tried it on another Kim - the one who bared her behind and broke the Internet.

Besides Kid'n Play, the trapezoid-shaped haircut was also recently spotted on the catwalk worn by Christopher Raeburn and MAN at the January men's collection fashion show, noted The Guardian.

Describing the haircut, MSNBC wrote that Kim's hair seem to have a life of its own, noting that it is taller and wider compared to his previous hairstyle. There is noticeably no part.

MSNBC speculated, "We have to imagine that if Jong Un was outside during a strong wind, his gravity-defying locks would stay put."

Kim may be disliked by many as a global leader, but his hairstyle has some fashionistas imitate him. That look was made by combining perm and wax, according to Ki Lee, founder and creative director of Hurwundeki, a Korean salon.

Ki explains, "It's not easy to do on Asian hair but we get a lot of people coming into the salon requesting this sort of volume."
