Pam Mettler, Bruce Jenner’s Sister, In Full Support of His Decision to Become a Woman

Pam Mettler, Bruce Jenner's sister is the latest family member to express support for the Olympian's decision to transition into a woman.

For the first time, Mettler spoke out about Jenner's decision, but refused to address it directly, as she believes that it is Jenner's "story."

Mettler, who is close and best friends with her famous brother told Splash News, "This is Bruce's story (and) he will talk about it when he is ready."

When asked about how close they are, she shared that she and Bruce talk all the time and that all of them are really close. She went on to say that, "Bruce often comes to visit me here. We are best friends. We fully support him. I am very much in contact with Bruce and his people over this."

Mettler's remarks about her brother come a few weeks after Esther Jenner, their mother, spoke out and said that she was extremely proud of his son.

Esther told Radar Online that she is proud of him for allowing himself to do what he wants and admits that she is more proud of him now than when he received the gold medal. And added that his son deserves "all the respect."

The former Olympian-turned-reality star has reportedly long wanted to become a female. Radar Online reported that when he was younger, he would even try on his mother's clothes.

With all the media attention and speculations, transitioning is proving to be difficult for Jenner, but aside from that, he is also facing a rather challenging time after it was proven that he was the cause of the Malibu car crash on February 7 that left one woman dead.

A video footage reportedly shows that Jenner rear-ended the Prius in front of him, which caused the Prius to hit the Lexus and force it into the other lane. The Lexus was then hit by a Hummer and the driver, Kim Howe, died later on the scene.

When Mettler was asked about what he thought about the accident, she simply responded with, "we will see what happens with the crash."

She said that she's hearing a lot of different things, but do not know exactly what happened.
