Based on the statistics provided by Turtle Rock Studios and 2K, a lot of players are hooked to their newest multiplayer game, "Evolve."

The one week statistics showed more than six million matches were held. That translates to around 946,000 hours or 108 years of gameplay. Almost five million spectators were present online to witness the Twitch matches in that same time period.

The same statistics showed that monsters have a 51.9 percent chance of winning as opposed to the hunters, which got 48.1 percent.  It also showed the character most players prefer is Lazarus.

The official "Evolve" website also posted some interesting trivia about the matches. The game developers found out the average time hunters and monsters make contact is around 2 minutes and 23 seconds. 

The average time that a match ends is almost 10 minutes. The shortest match lasted only 60 seconds while the longest match reached 43 minutes.

"Evolve" is a multiplayer shooter game where a four-player hunter team fights a monster controlled by a single player. The hunter team is divided into four classes: Assault, Trapper, Medic and Support.

Players that pick Assault can choose the characters Parnell, Hyde or Markov. Trappers have also three characters available: Abe, Maggie and Griffin. 

Those that like to play the Medic can choose Caira, Lazarus or Val. The team's firepower support has characters like Cabot, Bucket and Hank.       

Players that wish to play the Monster can also choose what kind of hell spawned predators they can be. Gamers can be the Wraith, Kraken or the Goliath. 

Just like the hunter characters, each monster has unique abilities that can easily wipe out a human team of four. Each side must employ superior tactics to win.

"Evolve" is available on the Microsoft Xbox One, Sony PlayStation 4 and Steam.
