Director Sam Taylor-Johnson Doesn't Feel Like Making a Movie Again After 'Fifty Shades Of Grey'

Movie director Sam Taylor-Johnson has expressed her disinterest in directing any more movies after the explosive opening of "Fifty Shades of Grey," which she directed.

According to the Dailymail, the reason Taylor-Johnson is bailing out of the franchise is the constant argument between her and the author of the book, E.L James. Hollywood Reporter said E.L James rejected the director's idea for the movie's ending and insisted on following her version.

Critics alleged that there are certain situations wherein a director may know a better way to make sure the audience will look forward to the next sequel. Taylor-Johnson never hid the fact that it was rather difficult to deal with E.L James. Although they fought, it is said that it's a creative fight over what's best for the movie.

Taylor-Johnson said it was a challenge - satisfying her vision and at the same time picturing the character for the movie. Despite claims that she had signed up for the rest of the sequel, she still doesn't feel like doing a movie again. Another cited reason for her bailing out is the absence of any invitation to be part of the next sequel, with two books still at bay.

The success of the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" was not enough for the critically acclaimed director to stick around and do the rest of the sequel. We Got This Covered said that for such an accomplished director, it is rather depressing as well as distressing to know that she doesn't feel like making a movie again. It's not often that you see a female director who can create a record breaking movie.
