While singer Solange Knowles has not admitted why she had gotten into a fight with brother-in-law Jay-Z in New York last May, she has one important thing to say about this feud. She is over it.
In her recent interview with Lucky Magazine, Beyonce's younger sibling speaks her mind on how important it is to make peace with your past. While Solange did not dig deep into the cause of their Met Gala standoff, she talked about moving forward with her family.

She also added that the statement released by the Knowles-Carter family to the Associated Press was enough to express their concerns regarding the said fight. According to such account, both Solange and Jay-Z have realized their responsibility for what happened and have made the necessary apologies.
TMZ posted a surveillance video of the elevator confrontation in May, showing Solange kicking and lashing out at Jay-Z while Beyonce calmly looks on. A security staff member was seen holding back the 28-year-old singer and trying to stop the elevator.
Photos of the sisters leaving the Standard Hotel together without Jay-Z went viral. Speculations about the reason behind this unpleasant incident followed the release of this footage. This called attention to the relationship between the Knowles sisters as the public sought indications of conflict and discord.
Yet, Solange pointed out that she and her sister continue to be thankful for the values that they grew up with as kids, including love and protection for each other. She also added that their family knows how to move forward from any dilemma there is.
