Google Now Cards Show Gas Stations En-Route

A new feature on Google Now shows gas-stations en-route.
Google has rolled out a new update for its virtual assistant service Google Now, adding a way to check for gas stations en-route when driving to a destination.
The stations will be available on the road, making a lot more sense than pointing out every gas station in the near vicinity. This could save a few minutes driving to a gas station rather than redoing the entire route from a new location.

Google has been documenting all available gas stations for quite some time now on its mapping service, meaning it did not have to implement much to make all available en-route show up.
Sadly the current update does not include charging stations and Tesla SuperChargers so electric car drivers will not be able to check for any available stations. Google will most likely add this in a later update.
Google Now does a variety of things, including flights, packages, auto-routes home, general information and important dates from emails. Google, however, has not given any solid information on how many users are actually using the virtual assistant.
The sale of 720,000 Android Wear devices might bump up usage considering almost any task on smartwatches needs to be done through voice recognition.
