Wearable technology is going to be the next big thing, and Konvert it set to make sure that the next "big thing" has a dash of fashion too. Kovert is a UK based startup company which took on the responsibility to help create designer masterpieces which the people could use to access their smartphones.
Kate Unsworth, Founder and CEO of Kovert came up with the idea of the company when she was waiting for someone in a café, surrounded by many other people. She saw that the people, instead of interacting with each other were busy with their smartphones.
Unsworth was then inspired to come up with a way through which people could stay connected to their smartphones without sacrificing the interaction with other people, thanks to her background in fashion as a model, and technology as a developer.
A Kovert pack can be broken down into three parts- a tech device which will help the user connect to his or her smartphone, jewellery to accompany the gadget, and an app which would connect the device to the phone.
Kovert already has many prototypes which will make use of alert systems to notify the users of a message, email, or a call. The tech device could be easily set into any kind of jewelry- necklace, rings, etc. The device could also be charged wirelessly.
