The woman, believed to be 33 years old and single, was caught by surprise by the cinema's staff as she was helping herself at a cinema in Sinaloa, western Mexico.
The woman had gone to see the film two days after its release on Valentine's Day, La Verdad reported.
Other moviegoers observed that she was doing something naughty, who immediately reported her to the cinema's staff. Accordingly, she was sitting in the 12th row of the movie house's premiere seat.
The lady was placed under arrest. But given the film's S&M nature, not too many could actually resist the urge! Sadly, her hands ended up in cuffs.
Despite the movie being critically panned and its R-18 nature, audience loved it and it continues to reign supreme in the box office, earning what was believed to be over US$100 million on its opening weekend.
The movie was an adaptation of the best-selling novel written by E.L. James and stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan who portrayed the couple who was involved in a sadomasochistic relationship. In the movie, student Anastasia Steele (played by Johnson) meets handsome but emotionally distant businessman Christian Grey (Dorman) and that's where their story begins.
According to Paul Dergarabedian of Rentrak said, the film has already grossed over US$400 million worldwide, a "sprinter out of the gate," as he called it, making the film the biggest opening weekend ever for February.
