Michael Phelps Is Engaged to Nicole Johnson

Twenty-two time Olympic medalist Michael Phelps is now ready to plunge into marital life.
Phelps and his long-time girlfriend, former Miss California Nicole Johnson, took to social media to announce their engagement.
Phelps popped the marriage question on Saturday, Feb. 21. The 29-year-old professional swimmer posted on Instagram a photo of him and her fiancée were playing comes with the caption: "She said yes @nicole.m.johnson. (Photocredit to @arschmitty)."

The 29-year-old would-be bride was blushing and really excited over the prospect of becoming the wife of the celebrated swimmer.
She also posted a pic that shows her embracing her man and displaying the diamond sparkler captioned: "I'm gonna be a Mrs. @m_phelps00."
The couple's relationship, nevertheless, was not without hassle. They were actually in an on and off relationship.
The couple started dating in 2011, when Phelps was participating in the FINA World Championships.
The swimming king and the beauty queen once again reunited this summer. They're reunion was publicized after the couple shared their picture together while they were in a Thanksgiving dinner with his family after his stint in the rehab.
Phelps was forced into a rehab in October after being found to be driving under the influence. He was also banned from swimming for six months.
Phelps regretted his actions, admitting his faults and saying in a statement that he "take[s] full responsibility" of his actions.
"I know these words may not mean much right now but I am deeply sorry to everyone I have let down," he said.
