Touring around Da Nang City in Vietnam calls for a visit to a fire-breathing dragon located at the 2,185-foot Rong Cao Bridge and spans across the Han River.
Since its opening last March 9, 2013, this dynamic creature has become a popular tourist attraction. Traffic going to the Han River Bridge in the city has also eased up.

Visitors and residents can expect pyrotechnic displays every weekend along with the dynamic dragon shooting out fire and water from its head. Driving across the six-lane bridge during the actual show is prohibited as it is closed prior to the evening show every Saturday and Sunday.
LED lights are used to illuminate the bridge, giving a bright and attractive effect even in the absence of fire. As a highly popular symbol for prosperity in Asia, the dragon remains a positive image for this Vietnamese city that has been experiencing continual growth.
Souvenirs with dragon themes are available near the Han River. Hotel establishments close to the bridge have taken their names and logos based on the fire-breathing structure.
According to the Da Nang Department of Sports, Culture, and Tourism, this U.S.-made bridge is expected to attract at least three million tourists to Da Nang City this year. Known for its growing economy, the city has been allocating a large portion of their budget to their infrastructure in compliance with their current tourism strategies.
Da Nang also seeks to become an extensive hub that can hold meetings and conventions on a regular basis. Tourists will also have opportunities to explore the central coast region that is rich in history.
As part of Da Nang's city bridge program, the Rong Cao Bridge and its non-imaginary fire-breathing creature has become the ultimate achievement to date. City officials have pointed out that the dragon is expected to become the city's newest symbol of progress and success.
