Renowned theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking said human aggression might be the main cause of the downfall of humanity and this means the ultimate survival of the human race will depend on kindness and cooperation.
These insightful comments were made during a conversation with Adaeze Uyanwah, 24, from Palmdale, California after she won the "Guest of Honor" competition by VisitLondon.com. Uyanwah was chosen from over 10,000 international contestants.

During their tour of London's Science Museum, the young teacher asked Hawking what human flaw or shortcoming he would prefer to be changed or eradicated, and what human virtue he would like to see grow and emphasized.
Hawking said the human failure he most wanted to correct is aggression.
Human aggression may have been a survival advantage during prehistoric times in order to hunt for food, acquire territory and even get a partner for reproduction. In these modern times, however, this aggression threatens to destroy us all.
Hawking noted that the quality he would like the most magnified is human empathy since it brings everyone together in a peaceful manner and a loving state.
He also said space travel is pivotal for the human race as it serves as a safety valve or a life insurance he believes should continue to develop. Hawking said the Moon landing was a great human feat that placed humans in the direction of the future in ways people now don't fully understand yet.
Although he acknowledged that space travel hasn't solved any immediate human problems, space travel can provide new perspectives by letting humans look inward into themselves and outward beyond space.
Hawking believes the long term future of the human race is all about space. This means that venturing out into space and establishing colonies on alien planets can prevent the extinction of humanity.
The Professor is famous for promoting space travel and its advantages for quite some time. He also strongly believes that investing in space travel continues to push the limits and has been the major driving force in advances in science and technology.
Apart from human aggression, Hawking has already warned about the perils that humanity will face in the near future. In December 2014, he also said artificial intelligence, if handled without regard to its possible consequences or mishandled, could lead to fully developed AI that can wipe out the whole of humanity.
